In Roving Rails you run a small railway company across the United States. Choose a destination on the

network map, board passengers and cargo, then watch your train roll through hand-crafted pixel-art

countryside, cities and changing weather. Every journey earns fares, reputation and new places to go.

THREE REGIONS, SIXTEEN CITIES

Start between Philadelphia and New York, then open up the Northeast, Great Lakes & Appalachia and the

Great Plains. That's 16 cities and 20 lines: the Manhattan skyline, the Horseshoe Curve, Niagara Gorge,

Chicago's 'L', the Mississippi and the golden wheat fields of Kansas.

DISCOVER THE COUNTRY

Spot 59 landmarks and 28 rare sightings for your Travel Journal, collect each landmark in fog, rain, snow,

sunset and night, and take photos that become postcards.

BUILD THE TRAIN OF YOUR DREAMS

Collect 17 locomotives and 34 kinds of car in the Trainiary, from a little 4-4-0 to twelve-wheeled freight

giants. Weight, power, grades and wet rails matter: a heavy train may need a banking engine on the

mountain.

A LIVING RAILWAY

Weather changes during a journey, seasons turn the woods gold and the hills white, stations fill at rush

hour and empty at night, rival railways pass on the main line, and passengers each have their own taste

in cars.
